Hello guys, my names Liv and I’m 15. This is my healthy living and weight loss blog. Its all about eating healthy, acting healthy and being the best version of you. I believe being healthy is the best way to be; personally it has made me a healthier and better person.
Most of my life I’ve hated exercise, eaten all the wrong foods and never really cared about my body, I mean I was only a kid so that’s expected but I’m glad that I’ve changed how I lived. I used to sneak food out of the panty and eat it secretly because I would always get told off for eating food and snacking. In primary school I hated exercise SO MUCH. I would always pretend to have injuries and get out of doing any sport. I would also crack it at my parents if they wanted to take us on walks.
Since 2010 I’ve started exercising, like running and more swimming. I also joined our school rowing team, which I did pretty well in (I was in our firsts crew for pretty much the whole season). Rowing really snowballed my whole lifestyle change, as it pushed my body to limits I didn’t know existed and it was VERY demanding both mentally and physically. I’m still far away from my ideal fitness but I’m continuing to work for it.
At the beginning of last year (2011) my mood really began to drop. I had near suicidal thoughts and developed an anxiety disorder, mainly in the field of social anxiety, which I think I’ve have my whole life but it’s just considered general anxiety. None of my friends really know, and some of them don’t understand how people can be depressed so I just decide to keep it to myself. Exercising makes me happy & I love to do it because it makes me feel indestructible, strong and amazing about myself.
